From Richmond
- Take 64 West to exit 167 (Oilville)
- At stop sign, turn left
- At light, turn right onto 250 West
- Make first left onto Fairground Rd. (Rt. 632)
- Follow Fairground Rd. approx. 5 miles
- Turn left at stop sign onto Rt. 522
- Turn right at light onto Rt. 6 West
- Follow Rt. 6 through the town of Columbia
- Make first left after crossing the Rivanna River onto Bremo Rd. (Rt. 656)
- Proceed 7 miles to Spring Garden, which will be on the left. Look for a long line of post and rail fence and turn into the gravel drive. The house is not visible from the road.
From Charlottesville
- Take 64 East to exit 136 (Rt. 15, Palmyra)
- Turn right onto Rt. 15 South
- Follow 15 South through Palmyra
- When Rt. 15 and Rt. 6 split (at Dixie), continue right on Rt. 15 South
- Proceed 6.5 miles (through Fork Union)
- Turn right onto Bremo Rd. (Rt. 656) (if you cross the James River, you’ve missed 656)
- Proceed 1.3 miles (past Post Office & Dominion Power plant) to Spring Garden
- Spring Garden will be on your right – post & rail fence and gravel drive.
From Buckingham/Cumberland Counties
- Take Rt. 15 North across the James River
- Make first left after crossing bridge onto Bremo Rd. (Rt. 656)
- Proceed 1.3 miles (past Post Office & Dominion Power plant) to Spring Garden
- Spring Garden will be on your right – post & rail fence and gravel drive.
From Scottsville
- Take Rt. 6 East to Fork Union
- At stop sign, turn right onto Rt. 15 South
- Proceed approximately 4 miles
- Turn right onto Bremo Rd. (Rt. 656) (if you cross the James River, you’ve missed 656)
- Proceed 1.3 miles (past Post Office & Dominion Power plant) to Spring Garden
- Spring Garden will be on your right – post & rail fence and gravel drive.
