Elk Hill is currently recruiting for a full-time Behavioral Aide at the Elk Hill Staunton School.
Employees in this role help to create and maintain an environment that will enable the student to make positive changes in attitude, values, and behavior through group and individual treatment modalities. Additionally, they work to build a positive, caring relationship with the student, assist with classroom management, and assist the student with developing coping skills.
We are looking for candidates that:
High School diploma required, with three years’ experience working with ED/LD youth; or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Experience teaching Special Education, preferred.
Crisis intervention training and experience.
