Elk Hill is currently recruiting for a Chief Administrative Officer. The CAO provides executive leadership and strategic direction for Human Resources, Food Services, Facilities, and IT.  They will be responsible for managing and developing efficient and cost-effective operations for the continuous success of the organization.  An employee in this role will must have performed extensive work in Human Resources.  Management experience required. 

  • Human Resources:  Create policies and procedures that create structure, inclusiveness, diversity, and ultimately promotes a positive work environment.  Oversee all talent planning and acquisition and total reward’s programs with support from a benefits broker.  Provide counsel to managers and staff with employee relations concerns and conduct complete internal investigations as needed.

  • Food Services:  Oversee the Food Services menu, budget, kitchen cleanliness and safety.  Oversee special events as needed.

  • Facilities:  Oversee all aspects of grounds management, facility maintenance, and fleet management by promoting or establishing work standards, processes, and procedures.  Oversee mechanical assets and upgrades.

  • Information Technology:  Oversee effective functionality and delivery of a wide range of IT resources (ex: computers, printers, telephones, servicers, and networks).

 

We are looking for candidates that:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Human Resources and operations management

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, minimum of High School diploma required with extensive experience working in Human Resources; SPHR/PHR certification preferred, experience working in facilities, food service, or IT preferred

  • Ability to maintain current knowledge on laws, legal rulings, regulations, general HR practices, strategy, and technology

  • Ability to understand the strategic relationship between effective administrative management and core business functions

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and acts with personal, professional, and behavioral integrity. Ability to adapt to conditions, situations, and people that conforms to the desired organizational culture

  • Ability to build engaging relationships with all organizational stakeholders through trust, teamwork, and direct communication
