Elk Hill is currently recruiting for a full-time Individual Education Program (IEP) Coordinator. The IEP Coordinator will ensure that the Elk Hill School operates in compliance with all state and federal regulations, special education data is collected and updated in a manner that meets all compliance expectations in accordance with specific state and/or LEA specifications.

 

We are looking for candidates that have:

  • A Master’s Degree and current Virginia State Department of Education teaching certificate in Special Education is required. Additional areas of concentration may include elementary or secondary education. Preferably hold an advanced certification.

  • A minimum of 3 years teaching experience and a minimum of 3 years experience in all aspects of the special education IEP team processes.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, computer proficiency, and demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse disciplines and individuals.
