We are looking for a full-time Residential House Manager that can work in our all male group home in Chesterfield, VA. Employees in this role will be responsible for implementing and supervising a structured program of care consistent with the organization’s mission and the Program Director’s overall residential program. Employees in this role will be required to maintain a high standard of childcare during coverage, including appropriate documentation of each shift.


Employees must have received or willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered. Proof of vaccination is required. Elk Hill Farm, Inc. is most concerned with the overall health and safety of the youth and families we serve, and staff associated with our organization.

If you decide to apply, we are hoping that you:

  • A baccalaureate degree in social work or psychology and two years of professional experience working with children one year of which must have been in a residential facility for children

  • A high school diploma, or a General Education Development Certificate (G.E.D.), and a minimum of five years professional experience working with children with at least two years in a residential facility for children; or

  • A combination of education and experience working with children as approved by the department
