We are looking for a full-time Substance Abuse Counselor CSAC CADC that can provide individual, group and family therapy for designated youth in Elk Hill’s residential program in Chesterfield, Goochland, Charlottesville, and Fluvanna County. This counselor will be required to provide and document weekly individual substance abuse counseling for residents.

Pay range: $45,000-$60,000

Travel will be required to all Elk Hill group homes listed above - A vehicle will be provided.

 

If you decide to apply, we are hoping that you have:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Human Services* related field and a combination of two years professional experience with children. Must be a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) or,

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Human Services* related field and a combination of one-year professional experience with children. Must be board approved as license eligible, preferred.

  • Substance Abuse experience, required

  • Experience with providing therapeutic services to at-risk youth, preferred
