Elk Hill is recruiting for a part-time, seasonal Outdoor Program Facilitator in the Charlottesville, VA area. This employee is to serve as a professional staff member providing supervision of clients and outdoor activities. They will be a positive role models for at-risk youth, help to develop interpersonal and social skills.
Duties include but not limited to: Assist with supervising clients participating in the outdoor program to ensure safely and objective are reached. Transport clients to and from programs and on field trips, as a driver or rider.
We are looking for candidates that:
Experience working with children in an outdoor recreational setting
Hold a valid Virginia driver's license and maintain an excellent driving record
Want to make a difference in a child and/or family's life!
Can work independently
Have experience working with at-risk youth, preferred
Exhibit consistent personal integrity with clients, families, co-workers and community agencies
