Last week kids enjoyed spring break camp including outdoor fun at the Elk Hill challenge course, hikes at Sugar Hollow and Humpback Rocks, as well as paddling the James River. A special thanks to many longtime supporters including the Ballyshannon Fund and Bama Works Fund at the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation as well as Ronald McDonald House Charities Charlottesville, plus many individual donors that provide camp scholarships!
Funds are needed to help offset the cost of providing outdoor camps to at-risk kids. Although some funding is available from localities, we have to count on philanthropic support to cover much of the cost of hiring camp staff, food, transportation, and entrance fees. Donate here!
