The Elk Hill Board of Trustees welcomed two new Honorary Board members at its Annual Meeting on October 18, 2023.
Mrs. Betty Caravati served as an Elk Hill Trustee for 11 years, following in the footsteps of her father-in-law, Charlie Caravati, Sr. who served as a Trustee for nearly 20 years. Betty has been a tireless advocate for children in Central Virginia. To demonstrate that the family continues to support Elk Hill, Betty’s son-in-law, Jay Jordan, currently represents the third generation of the family on the Elk Hill board.
Denny Sigloh served on the Elk Hill Board of Trustees for many years and continues to be a wonderful ambassador for Elk Hill. Mr. Sigloh continues to promote Elk Hill to friends and throughout the Charlottesville community. We were excited to have his children, Casandra and Chuck surprised their father at the event. Betty and Denny join other esteemed Elk Hill Honorary Trustees including: Gene Bowles, Charlie Cary, Dr. Howard Ellis, Mike Harman, Wally Stettinius, and Randy Street representing 220 years of Board service. We are grateful for their dedication.
